i need a transmission where to order from

my transmission went out on me and i took it out and the input shaft has a lot of play in it. i took the input shaft out and the trans has 100,000 miles on it so i might as well replace it. the car has been supercharged since 40,000 miles and i just rebuilt the engine with forged internals so i plan on upping the boost eventually. my problem is i need a transmission at a decent price being the holidays and all and the slow season at my job ( bmw technican) the funds are low. i can always upgrade later so i need something to get me back on the road reliably. is there a place online that anyone would recommend or anyone have a transmission that they are selling. im in baltimore md. thanks for the help guys

if new then look at D&D perhaps~ or you can buy an oem ford one from the guy on svtperformance.com that sells ford parts for 10% over cost~

You could try Prestige Mustang out of Georgia.
They take wrecked stangs and part them out. They got a few v6's with trannys for sale. Usually they're cheaper than oem and some other sites.
Check around, there are tons of sites that usually sell the trannys for cheap.

make sure you buy a 99-04 transmission or a 94-98. both work but the speedometer linkage is digital in the 99+

i talked to justin up at jpc racing in glen burnie maryland and i think im going to give him my transmission and get g-force internals i already built the engine if i build the transmission and the rear end then my goal of running 450-500hp should be able to be pretty reliable.

G Force makes a great transmission, GT Eater <Gary from V6P> Ran one in his 425 Hp for a good while and the tranny is srill going strong. You could also go with Astro Performance, They do a great job. I just bought one used from michael konor and it is great...The Astro Performance is good for around 550 HP.

I am running the 13 PSI pulley....Alot of bost for a stock engine, but boy is fun!

I have a bullit proof 4R70W Interceptor transmisson from PATC. It is good to 550 HP and preforms very well
