Intake manifold recall?

I have a 1996 mustang gt convertable , the intake split around the thermostat housing, i was talking with a neighbor with a 99 4.6 in big car though an said they recalled them . Does anybody have any info on possible recall on 1996? Thanks Joe

they have issues with it splitting, but I dont think ford has any recall on them, and if they did its probably out of date by now. You should pick up the revised version though and use it and not just another one like you have.

Mine is cracked as well.........how did you get it replaced this late in the game? I thought we only had 7 years from sale date?
