Ok, with VT going down the tubes my plans of getting a built stroked short block has a lot of added pessimism. I am going to look into whomever I go through very closely before I take the plunge.
I've been talking to them for the last week and they seem pretty attentive, even to those who haven't sent them a dime yet. However, have any of y'all heard anything about them?

MMR - based on initial findings, much more investigation to go

I hadn't made it that far, but yeah, I know a couple of those guys on his site from other forums. And yeah, they built the 03 cobra land speed record motor....things are looking up for them. Real friendly over there...been answering my pm's for the last hour on mod fords. Quick responses, several option/suggestions. And even suggestions on how best to utilize my existing block in the GT.

rob do you know if the 5.4 3v in the F150 has the same heads as the mustang

Not at all. You wouldn't be thinking of a lift kit or 4wd would you? You couldn't possibly be thinking about accidentally dropping a 5.4L shortblock in there...

no wanting to do a long block and just change the intake and acc. parts

Um....you wouldn't need to go through all that trouble for 10's....just get the Saleen Series VI supercharger with your juice and you should be deep 10s. Cody had his 05 without juice low 11's with that blower...putting down 512 to the wheels...stock bottom end running 15 psi...and a manual.
