no worries bro don't go out of your way, I just thought maybe if you had already done it. from what I understand, you just drill the holes in the corners of the grill then run them to them over them over to the existing holes.

Drill & mount in the spot the directions tell you to but drill & run the wires through the grille 1st(thats if your using Rivets, I used SS screws). Then once everything is mounted find the length that you like & with everything connected & where you want them fill the 2 small holes in the grille with black silicone.

one more question for you, I drilled one of the holes a little big for one of the screws. I have it in there but it doesn't tighten up. everything is stable and there is no movement but do you think that will cause a problem?

OK, then I would drill your holes in the grille, run the wires through the holes & RIVET the ends mounting to the Radiator core support.

sorry, I was actually refering to the four small screw holes in the hood. the lower one is the issue, not really an issue it seems to be ok but I was just wondering if you ran into a similar issue during install (kind of off the subject).

Actually I did on 1 of the upper screws but discovered I hadn't completely drilled through both layers of hood. Once I figured that out I re-drilled & all was ok.

I wish that was it... my went all the way through. like I said it closes and it is fine, it is just I know it is there no one else would even notice.

I did find that the lanyards where blowing around at higher speeds. I went ahead and moved them into the grill. There is still some slack it should be better at higher speed I would think.

Nice job, thats where I did mine but I had to drill holes in the grille since mine has the stock honeycomb grille. The reason why I filled the hole with silicone after I got a decent length was because it would keep sliding in & then maybe contacting the hood, plus they are always the same length. Not sure it would work or look right with your aftermarket grille.

It is actually a mesh cover grill, the real grill is behind it. So ya I had to drill the holes as well. Thanks for the compliment though. It seems that the radiator cover is holding the lanyards down sense I put them underneath it. is your scoop real?

My scoop is the factory scoop.

so it is just cosmetic? I have been debating on the scoop. What is your overall opinion of it?

Yup, just for looks. I like them but I would rather have the stock hood & mount a functional shaker scoop but since mine came with this scoop I can't install a shaker. I would have to buy a new hood without the stock scoop holes drilled in it since the shaker won't cover the holes.

good point, I may just hold off and wait to do the real deal... I'm on the edge of getting the AIRRAID cold air intake. It seems to put out a lot of hp with out having to reprogram. So that may be my next big upgrade.

But will see, so much stuff I want to do...
