I think that you're greatly overestimating the amount of money that I could get from the sale of The Blue Car.

x2 I am seriously considering buying one when I graduate. Professional looking enough to take customers out in, and still badass and fun to drive.

I lost a hard drive a couple of weeks ago, so I have no digital pictures from which to show you a picture of The Blue Car. It is god's gift to the roads of North Alabama. It gets me to work most every day, and comes in handy when I need to fit more that one other person in the car.

interesting. whats the reasoning for adding "low impedance" injector box and MSD ignition, and how do either of those combined with just a stock motor and a catback exhaust blow up catalytics like that?

I don't see it hurting the car at all, but that definitley would make me worry about other problems arising. Maybe second guess that turbo a bit...

hmmm...the video is a little unclear about whether or not this happened with the "BIG" turbo installed...it shows the big turbo in reference in the beginning but it doesnt actually show a clear shot of the turbo in the overview picture of the engine bay...but i would assume for there to be that kind of exhaust pressure to blow out the cats, the big turbo would need to be installed because i dont see how just the ignition/fuel stuff would do that type of "damage" to the cats (which is essentially what Thomas said above)...
Now, if the BIG turbo was in fact installed and this was caused, that means there is a tremendous amount of exhaust pressure flowing through that system...if there was enough exhaust pressure that far down stream of the originating flow to blow out the cats like that, i could only imagine what kind of pressure must be running through the actual cylinders themselves and just downstream of the exhaust valves....My guess is that if you had that much pressure build up in the cats, you probably don't have a very safe pressure further upstream which will ultimately cause a much bigger boom later...

yeah i dont think the turbo was installed yet, the video states he installs the injector and msd stuff and moved the PS pump in preparation for the turbo.
i call shenanigans!

Apparently he got two of the wires switched when he relocated the coils. Atleast that what I read.
