95 5.0 trouble starting?

I have a 95 5.0 with a couple of simple mods done to it; exhaust, skog pump delete, racing wires, plugs, filter, etc... Here is the problem, shortly after i did the smog pump delete, it had troubles starting, the car would take a LONGGGG time to start, it would just sit and crank over, then a couple seconds after it would start, it would just die, then i could start it back up and it ran fine. it does this everytime i start my car, if anyone has n e suggestions i would deeply appreciate it!
