Word has it in April of 09 Ford is sponsoring a HUGE show at Barbers in Birmingham for the 45th anniv. Should be north of 6,000 cars. We should make it a major point to meet up and all go for the weekend. We should also make it out annual get together for that year. Should be massive.

Barbers is like 30 min from where I live so if yall can come down earlier we can all hang out or something and go over there. I am sure its more than one day though and they will have the autox track open for whom ever that wants to take their car around it a bit  and its not a bad track it wont eat up your tire so some say more of a fun track.

Yep, they approached the club I'm in about hosting it since they liked what we did with the MCA 30th anniversary at Barbers. It'll be a ton of work, but we accepted.
And it isn't autox so to speak. It's an actual professional road course that Grand Am/Rolex and Superbikes race on. There's even a Porsche driving school there. It's a blast to drive.
It'll be from that Thursday to Sunday. Thursday evening we plan to do the same cruise to Homewood where they shut down the main street for us to all park and have a street party/show kick off. I would certainly plan to make that as it's one of the most fun events that weekend.

FYI you MUST be a member of the MCA (Mustang Club of America) to enter the show (they do this so they dont have to pay taxes on entry fees...) so if you are planning to show in this one you need to join, its like 40 bucks a year~
