Diablo Sport Tuner

If I buy a Diablo Sport Tuner will it automatically tune my car or do I have take my car in to get it tuned, because I am running a lean mixture on Bank 2.

Diablo comes with some canned tunes when you buy them new...these are ok, but I wouldn't consider it the final fix for your problem.

For only one back running lean, there might be something else going on though that a tuner won't fix. Clogged injector(s), lower than normal fuel pressure not feeding that bank,...something else maybe?

But yeah, it should come with a canned tune. But, if you are going to buy a tuner, get an SCT XCal2 or 3 from Justin @ VMP. it is a better tuner over all, will let you easily datalog anything you want all at once realtime with their free software, and Justin will put 3 canned custom tunes that will be better than the default custom tunes.

ok thanks for the info. I am probably just going to get the SCT V3 Tuner and see if that will fix the problem. I also have a busted cat on that side could that also be the reason the check engine light is on?

definitely...if the cat is shot and your rear 02 sensors are not disabled, that is the #1 reason why the check engine light is on.

When a customer orders an SCT X2 or X3 from my website I program it for their vehicle and mods, and I can also take care of certain requests.

on my 98 my left bank was lean it was the upstream o2 sensor that was bad you can buy cde readers of ebay for as little as 14.95 that will tell you what codes are making engine light come on. with my 14.95 code reader I had 3 codes making my light come on.I have now been 4 months wo light coming on.good luck.

Yeah, definalty go with VMP....they got me a multi position chip for my mustang about a year ago and where great to work with!
