Need some help here every time i turn my stearing wheel I get the old screech like I have a tie rod end that needs greased but I still have the stock ones on and no grease zerks so is there a replacement so I can grease the front end or do I have to just replace them. My car is a '01 with 41,000 miles on it. It doesn't do it right away but after 3 miles of driving then it does it. Will have to get out and make sure it is not the rack n pinion but I think it is a TR end. Any suggestions?

Ford has a tsb out on this, not sure exactly what it is but I believe it has to do with the tie rod ends.

My 01 GT had the same squeek that you are describing at 39000 miles. Turned out to be the ball joint so I got a greese needle from Autozone and filled the ball joint up and the squeek has not returned and I now have 70000 on it. I have also read that the tie rods have the same problem with the same fix.

check your power steering fluid. If its low it will make noises. My DD 99 grand prix made horrible noises. I put some PS fluid in it and it was perfect again.... they said they checked it when I had the oil changed (LIARS!) its in a pita place to get to so they didnt even try I am sure...
