Hey all, I have a 2002 V6 and was wondering if the wheels from a 2005-2007 mustang would fit on a 2002 with no problems. Would I need anyuthign else to make ti work?

they stick in to much but they will fit. With a wheel spacer they can be just like the stock ones fitment wise. I am not sure how much they stick in but it is noticable and can create turning issues.

They have the same bolt pattern, so technically they will fit. However, Like Spec said, the backspacing is different on the 05+ cars and they will sit much further inside the wheel well than the stock rims do. You will need a spacer to make them fit correctly, which will also mean you may need longer wheel studs unless you get hubcentric spacers....depending on how much of a spacer you need. Anything more than about 1/4-3/8" spacer needs longer studs or hubcentric spacers.

so if I get hub centric spacers, I will not need longer studs....I just pop them on before the wheel and it's all good? How much do these bad boys run???

Spacers aren't all too expensive. I don't remember the cost of the top of my head, but they are somewhere around 50-100 or something like that for the set.
With the hubcentric they come with their own studs. Your current studs will be bolted down onto the spacer, and then the spacer has its own set of studs that the wheel will bolt onto. So no, you will not need new studs with those.
You will need to find out what the backspacing is on the 05+ wheel you are looking at and compare it to the stock...which I don't remember off the top of my head. Then get the spacer that will make up the difference.

Ok....well...here's the deal...I ended up getting 4 05-07 bullit rims...265 total for all 4 plus chrome locking lug nuts.......now I just need tires....good deal? What do ya think?
also, are the hubcentric spacers safe to run on a car?

good brand spacers that are within the limits of the stock studs are safe. To find out what is ok to run with the stock studs you just have to read up on them to see what they recommend and also find out what spacer size you need (im not sure how much the backspacing is off on the new ones)

My question is why would you want the bullitt rims for an 05-07 car when you can get some 17x8's off ebay for 94-04 stangs for probably the same price or close and not have the hassel of all the spacers etc?

I've seen a set of the other style 16" rim that comes on the 05's on an sn95 in the parking lot at work and they look like they fit fine. I don't think you will have issues with a 7.5" wide wheel. I'd only use them if you get them for free though :P I think the last set of bullits i bought off of ebay were like 450 shipped 17x9's and 17x10.5's

reason I got them......260 shipped
Totally with you on the why buy the 05-07 when I could buy the 99-04....price was so good I couldn't pass them up. I just got them today, actually....they look great...just need the spacer..already have tires for them (uncle works on cars...got and extra set and tossed them my way for free....
so...to answer the question 2 of you touched.....I got a good deal.

Great, Well, I am going to get them installed soon. I have one last question. the hubcentric spacer kits have longer studs, so if in the winter I wanted to put my old tires back on, how much of a pain in the ass will that be?
