yeah thats hella old.
crankwalk is just a good excuse to build a 6bolt. only the 7bolt motors get the infamous Crankwalk, and its usually 95-97's and of those its usually fwd. though ive yet to know anyone personally who has gotten it.

yours was a non-turbo pos 1g. its like the worst of the worst. even 2g non-turbos are piles of garbage, my cousins 96 GS went through 2 trannies, and a motor rebuild (spun bearings).
had you have come to the darkside and bought a GST/GSX (or gotten a turbo dsm right off the bat) you'd feel totally different about the car, but i guess because yours was a POS it means they all are, which is pretty untrue. ive found the crappiness of the vehicle is mostly due to the owner or quality of modifications done, IE half assing shit (standard DSM method of operations) is directly responsible for unreliability issues. the other side is making twice as much power as stock levels and parts break, which is mostly true on any car, make 800whp on a Cobra and you find out quickly what parts ford cheaped out on.

^I am actually on your side Thomas...I wouldn't mind owning a Turbo AWD Talon for a sleeper toy...Those are quick little sob's with the potential for quite a bit of power...

I agree. Brandon is incredibly hard on his cars. I mean, you've all seen the black '01 V6. His Cobra will be lucky to last another month.
