I'm gonna be painting my car soon and the painter mentioned to me that on my hood the stress cracks on the front may reappear later on after he paints the car because it may be in the fiberglass. I have been looking at hoods and I like the cowl hoods but it makes the front seem taller and I dont have a spoiler on the rear to balance it. I like the 94-98 cobra stock hoods but I have yet to find on a car that doesnt have the cobra front bumper either to see what it would look like with the bumper I have now. The saleen hoods are sweet but since I have shaved the car I am not sure how it would flow with the vents on the hood and the car being clean. I like the stock hood I have but if I had to get something else I wanted to think about a different one rather than the stock hood even though I may just get another stock hood. Any ideas or input would be great. Thanks in advance.
Oh and which would you prefer, the yellow Chrome Yellow or Screaming Yellow? They are almost the same except I think for one thing in the paint code I believe. I think screaming yellow looks deeper and richer then the chrome yellow but I have seen some chrome yellow stangs that are just as rich in color too. Thanks.
