Hello I'm new to the forum and I own a 2001 Mustang V6 just wanted to get some ideas on maybe fixing it up a little and some troubleshooting from some of the more experienced people in forum or someone who has had similar problems. I look forward to learning a lot about the Stangs.

Welcome to M.E. Had the same issue with mine Ford will give you a long story about emission and the motor burning off excess fuel and they can't do anything about it .But the RPM decay rate is determined by the ecu and the SCT chip cured the problem for me The rate of decay just needs to be set to drop faster
reving high
