I would assume 87 if it hasnt been tuned or worked on if it is still the stock setup

As long as its not tuned for higher octane or if your timing isn't advanced you can run 87 no problem.....when i bought my car the previous owner had the timing at 12 degrees and it needed 93 or it would ping.

5.0's don't care at all, unless you have it modded or bumped timing...

if its stock and not messed with (timming wise) you should be fine on regular 87. Just listen for detonation (marbles rolling around like sound in your upper intake area) then you can bump it up. It wont make ANY difference to run higher octane gas if the car isnt setup for it.
