Red truck was traveling down road in one direction. Second vehicle involved was coming from the opposite direction. Deer ran out in front of second vehicle and sent the deer airborne.
Red GMC just happen to bo receiving end of the deer landing. Deer was severed in 2 with the head landing in the wife's lap on passenger side. Here is part of the email that was sent along with pics

Quote:
They were traveling in southern Arkansas , between Mena and DeQueen. Oncoming car clipped a deer and sent it straight up into the air. The deer came down head-first into Clayton's brand new truck. The deer's head went thru the front windshield, cutting the head (plus some) off, and landed in Jill's lap. The body of the deer flipped up, smashed in the top of the truck, and landed in the bed. Clayton couldn't see Jill from his side, because the top of the truck was smashed in so horribly.
He got out of the truck, went around, and opened the door on her side...only to start flipping out, because she was literally drenched in blood. However, neither one of them was hurt. Her parents were following in a separate vehicle and didn't see it happen...but drove up on it right afterward. I can't imagine what they were thinking!

HOLY CRAP i can't believe they didn't get hurt, i scrolled down before reading and thought the blood inside of the truck was from the driver, they are probably counting their blessings after that!

exact same thing happened about 1 mile from my house a couple years ago. 2 cars driving opposite directions cut the deer in half on the double yellow line. each half was in one of the cars. My dad happened to be drving by for the after math. said it was CRAZY

hmmm is that deer or Jill excrement all over the inside of the rear passenger side door?
I do believe that I would have sh*t myself if I were in her position...

Wow, that is horrible. I thought the same thing as Nicole when I saw the pictures before reading what happened...yikes! I feel soooooo sorry for anyone who hits a deer, they can cause so much damage and injury!

I dont get this, i meen deer weigh a lot but it completely peeled the top of the truck down, must be some poor design for the roof.

I wonder how many people die every year from deer/car collisions?
