The minimum I would suggest on a 10" wide wheel would be a 285 tire...

There's no point of getting a big wheel like that if you aren't gonna run some big tires. I'm running 295's on my 18x10's and they're still not quite as wide as I like.

295's or wider at least no smaller. also keep in mind two tires that are both 295s but made by different companies can be MUCH different and how wide they are.

they wont rub out back, you dont need to run larger than a 275 in the front with a 5.95 or so back spacing~ it may rub in the front some but its not bad, dont turn it to a full lock. The 03/04 cobras would rub if they had not installed a limiter to keep them from turning to much (which you can do as well but its not needed just dont turn it that far)
If you cant afford the tires then go with some 17s

the last falkens I had got me 20k miles (on my wifes car... and she did not abuse them)
for 10 wide a 295mm wide tire to a 305 will work good.
