So i got a 98gt droped and it has 17" wit 245/45 and when i crank the wheel all the way i hear a rubbing/grindin noise im almost certain that its the tires hittin the wheel well. so would go a size smaller on the tire would it fix the problem?

Don't cut the wheel all the way man...solve your problem. I was running 275's on the front of my last car with it lowered almost 2 inches...just don't turn full lock.

Exactly !! I also have 275/40/17 on the front

no, but i think i fixed the problem the guy who had the car before me had the tire weights monted on the inside of the rim and it was rubbin against the control arm

interesting to say the least.

how low is the car, what lowering kit, c/c plates, etc. does it all have?

i have 275/35 on 17's up front with H&R race springs, Koni Yellows, no front iso's and no c/c plates (to my knowledge, im pretty sure id notice them!) and no rubbing at full lock.
