it happens when they are not taken care of over time. You can use sand paper and sand it off. It takes FOREVER and you have to start off with a low gritt and work your way up to 2000 gritt and then hand polish. I would just buy a set of 96-98 cobra headlights and corners from any 94-98 that are new. After that wax them like the rest of the car to keep them looking new.

To defog your headlights, get some polishing paste, the fine white stuff, NOT polishing or rubbing coumpound, either apply it with a automotive type buffer or by hand. I personally recomend the buffer! Use it sparingly with a little water. Use window cleaner for the final wipe. The aftermarket people actually sell a kit to do this same thing, but why bother buying something you probably already have on the shelf next to your "car care" stuff. If you want the best window cleaner that I've ever seen, put about 4 drops of "Johnsens tear free baby shampoo in a 16 oz spray bottle. Its economical, streak free, and leaves a very pleasant "clean" fragrance when used on the interior window glass. Hope this info was useful. Rick
