No need to worry about that. Miss. States recruiting class is consistently shitty. Ya'll catch us off guard every now and then but other than that it's no thang

The sub-compact only comes in 9mm and .40. They had the 9mm in stock so it won.

remember... safety on when handing the gun to someone else, and face the muzzle towards the ground when not actually shooting it...
and no looking down the barrel

im guessing because of the high-capacity magazines.
i think the max is like 12 or some shit here? buddy of mine said if you are at a firing range and they hear you fire more than the legal number before running your clip empty they kick you out!

It's because of the high capacity clip. It holds 16 rounds.

lol because its unfair to the cops in a firefight if they have to change out their clip before the other guy......

nice little pistol. Sometime we need to get together and go to the range. Been needing to fire my two newest rifles anyways, and freshen up with the Beretta.
Don't feel to bad about the 9mm. It is a larger round then people credit it. My next pistol purchase I plan on getting a Taurus Millinium P111 in a 9mm. I need something smaller then my Beretta Cougar 8040 .40. It is just to impractical to carry being a large frame pistol. I can't conceal it for the life of me or find a holster either.

I don't feel bad lol. I bought it to conceal it. If I ever have to use it on someone it might not kill them instantly but it sure as hell is going to slow them down plenty.
We should all go shooting though. Mark has a shotgun he needs to actually fire.

I think I am going to be getting a hand gun here shortly as well. After checking out the selection at the new Cabelas store here....I have been motivated.
Plus, I believe I am changing careers into the Insurance Adjuster field...hopefully...

there actually isnt a safety per say on Xd's, there isn't a traditional thumb safety on any of them other then the .45 cal service model and tactical.
as for it being a 9 millimeter, i have never met anyone who likes being shot with anything and 9 is a shit load cheaper then .40 or .45 so you can actually practice with what you carry!!! plus for me and a lot of ppl out there, i can put 9 millimeter where ever i want to place it unlike .45 cal where it kind lands where it will.
as for me i like my good old wheel gun with .357 but, i carry an XD subcompact in 9 millimeter.

brent, i have the same exact gun, paid about the same at a gun show and it came with 100 rounds.. pretty accurate for the price.. i love mine, like you said..im sure itll slow them down a bit but with some practice they wont live to hit the ground...

its a hell of a pistol, i carry it a lot, unless im opening carrying in which case i grab the .357.
its easiest to shoot semi auto i have ever fired and it doesn't have the funky grip angle of a glock.
