so im a bit confused.
i have a SFPHQ 2.8" on the car currently, it has the whole 4 allen screw hub thingy whatever.
if say, i wanted to go to a BilletFlow 2.93", would that hub be fine or would i have to pull that hub and replace it with the BF one?
now if i were to go back to stock pulley, id assume i need a puller to pull the hub, but how do you press on the stock pulley? i dont think pulley pullers work in reverse........
reason for contemplating going to stock, i have two main reasons. 1) i want to learn the car better in its stock form, it might get road-raced this year if i cant get into another dsm or find the right one, that being said, i would put some badass suspension mods on the Cobra later in the year, MM everything. you dont need/want gratuitous horsepowers for road course or auto-x, a great suspension and decent power will get you farther than insane power that cant turn. 2) i didnt do the mods, therefore i dont completely trust them. half the fun of having a car like this is putting in the wrench time yourself, and that i have not done. I am a person who learns by doing, and i havent done anything to the car to get it to the level its at now, so i havent learnt anything. if i want to learn these cars, i have to start over and do it all myself, that way i know how it was done (quality of mods wise), even if it means going back to stock, and basically doing everything a second time over.

you probably would need to contact billitflow and ask them if another hub will match, probably wont... but you never know. They might can make you a stock or near stock size (I think they make a 3.X pulley which would still use a hub and I would do that so its MUCH easier to swap out once you realize you shouldnt have removed the pulley)
You had best get a rear end oil cooler if you plan on autox

+1 ^^ Definately call Billetflow and ask them about the hub.
As far as the pulley puller, yes it will press the pulley on also. You just do it differently with the supplied parts.

The billetflow pulleys only match the billetflow hub.
The billetflow pulleys attach with 5 allen screws. If you want another pulley, you will need another SFPHQ piece o' trash to replace it with. The metcos won't fit either.
You will need to pull the hub off and press the BF one on then install the BF pulley ring.

I am assuming that after exhaust upgrade, pulley's would be the next logical step. What would your first pulley upgrade be?
Is there a single pulley only upgrade?
At what size does fuel delivery problems need attention (injectors, etc.)
I am looking to do the work myself and although I have installed headers, superchargers, and nitrous on 5.0L's, I have done nothing significant on this 2003 Terminator yet.
Thanks for ideas

What pulley really depends on what your plans are...
Myself, I'm probably gonna go with a 2.76 upper and stock lower on a ported blower.

I am going to go with a 2.93 upper only to limit belt slip that you can get with the 2.76.

id do a 2.93 upper and 4lb lower, take advantage of the cooler charge and airflow with that ported blower.

Well the reason I say 2.76 is the blower already has that installed and it's included in the price lol.

2.93 with a lower will give you better belt wrap but overall its not a huge deal~

Well, I won't be doing too much to the car. (I know we all say this at the beginning) and a little more HP is always useful. I just see all kinds of ratios, uppers, uppers and lowers, and some with new belts, some with upgraded injectors, and just trying to figure out what you can do with a stock motor and stock blower.

Put on exhaust/cai/and a 2.93 or 2.76 pulley and get a GOOD dyno tune. That will put you around 440-470hp/430-460tq at the wheels. Simple as that. The only difference in the pullies is the boost level. I think its 2 more psi for the 2.76 vs the 2.93. You should have no fuel issues. You will need new spark plugs though. Your MAF should also be fine... just do what I said above.
I would also recommend better more sticky tires and MM full length subframe connectors (a MUST on a vert) and be prepared.. with a pullied car the stock clutch wont last nearly as long.
