We love Mustangs! It started with a 1966 Fastback in its day. My Dad bought it for my Mom. The story goes he called her from the Ford dealership and told her it was the color of her hair, metalic copper. Well years later she sold the car and I grew up.
I thought the only Mustangs were the classics, especially during the 80's. (I've changed my mind on that thought.) Our kids were almost grown and I'd just bought a 2000 extended cab 4x4 F150. I was visiting the dealership where I'd bought it and the Lil2kpony was just on the lot. I called my wife and asked her if she thought they'd take her mini-van in trade for the car. They did and she drove it for a few months.
Then she said "Honey why don't you drive my car to work." That was it. She never drove it again. And I'm reminded about it every now and again.
To satisfy her loss for driving Lil2kpony the next summer we looked for her a car to call her own. She was looking for a volkswagen convertible. We went to a lot and saw what she was looking for and guess what was parked right next to the VW? She test drove the VW. It didn't feel right. Then she drove the 1995 V6 Mustang convertible. I don't need to say more. Now, both convertibles sit in our garage. My Lil2kpony and her red 95 V6 with a white top.
We've made mods and had mods made to my Lil2kpony. Mods for her pony are comming...
