My window will not roll up/down, input?

my window buttin is like broke when i push the button the window likes just stays there and then i have to get out and push down on it just to role it down

is it like broke or is it really broke? if it is really broke, you could try probing the power wire coming out of the button to see what happens when you push it. if you're not seeing any juice coming out of the switch, replace it. if you are and the wiring seems okay between there and the motor, you probably need a new window motor.
