Alright, I've been looking at posts on sites(including this one) and have seen too many different opinions on mods.
What mods actually help the 3.8 V6 engine. I've heard that CAIs, throttle body spacers, UDPs. etc don't help.
Which mods are worth the money and time, and which aren't.
Thank you

What are your plans for the car in the future? That'd be where I'd start.

intake, exhaust, udp, gears, tune.
depending on tranny, that should put in around mid/upper 14s with good driving on a good night

all the small mods don't help significantly, but they add up. i highly recommend doing ALL the small things because every last bit helps... especially with a tune. after you do all that minor stuff, then you can get into bigger mods which benefit from the small stuff you did before.

Thanks for the input.
I have an 03 auto. with exhaust. For now i just want small things for a decent performance increase. After college i will probably go more in depth -power adders, nitrous, etc.
So basically gears, tlock, udps, boltons, will be the best bet.

Tune, CAI, gears (I'm getting 4.10's in my GT) and definitely exhaust!

CIA, UDP, Cut the cats <if allowed by law>, 70mm MAF housing, TLOK, 4.10 Gears, LT Headers, and a tune will really make your car come alive!

gears and exhaust are about it with a tune, cai and udp's help but none of them are amazing... all together sure there is a difference though.
