Current mods: CAI, UDP's, MagnaFlow cat back dual out, new engine (6k), 3.45s and traklok!!
Soon to be mods:SSM stage 3 splitport swap, 11+psi, weight reduction.
Very soon mods: Vortech V-2 supercharger (4-6psi), port and polished TB, 70mm MAF & 19# injectors.

the engines dont like much more than 450 (a tune is everything but just on average over 450 you start to run into issues) so the tranny should hold that~ if you dont abuse it.
Even on stock power the wrong shift or to much abuse will break it.

I was told that the engines can handle about 480hp but I do know a guy with a GT that is running 522hp; however, he needs a methanol injection

I was told my T5 wouldn't hold up to drag racing with my current setup
It's been grinding third and touchy about any gear when the engine's torqued up since my runs on slicks... but it still works

hmmm, would it be a big deal if I just dropped a 5.0 in it? of course an engine swap is a big deal ... but I mean ... would it be a BIG deal? |

I had a Procharger P1SC at 10 lbs boost on my car before I went turbo. The guy that bought the P1SC blew 2nd gear in his stock transmission at 440 rwhp.
