hi everyone i just acquired a 96 gt to go along wirh my 98 v6, it has a true dual exhaust with the cats removed.how do i get the cel to go out because th downstream o2s have been removed. the connectors are still there just taped up. thanks man gts are fast

You need to pick up a set of MIL elminators. EVen then you're not 100% certain they'll go away...

get it turned off in a tun, the mil eliminators go inline to the oxygen sensors and dont work all that great.

The MIL eliminator is simply a resistor and capacitor circuit placed in the O2 sensor harness that sends the computer the lean signal (300mV) it expects to see.
You would need the O2 sensors to be there for mils to work, the best way is to get a tuner (SCT,Diablosport) and turn them off.
