Never really liked the guy, but he was definitely talented. Good to see him go out on a good note, he had a spectacular year last year.

I was really looking to him coming back for at least one more try. I've been a Favre fan since I was a kid. After last year, this was really unexpected.

Well he has been playing for 16 or 17 years....That's an amazing stretch in the NFL....it's sad to see him go, i also wished he stayed for one more year.....i hope he enjoys his retirement, he has definately earned it. |

I'll tell you one thing about him, he knew he was going to retire this year, and you could just see he had a blast playing this year. I remember watching one game in the snow, and when his reciever caught his touch down pass, he rolled a snow ball and started pelting him. Its great to watch a guy get so much enjoyment from a game. I am glad he was able to have a good year to retire on.
