Getting ready to leave to go view a 65 mustang with an inline six three speed manual transmission. I have heard the frames are different between an in line six and a 289 v eight. I have had mustangs in the past and have not heard this before. Can someone confirm ? I also read on the forum there is no way to tell if it is the original engine. Well better get gone and have a peek. Thanks for your help!
There shouldn't be any difference in the frame. It might need a little work on the front K - member to put a V8 in but it shouldn't be much difference.

Well there really isnt a frame as a Mustang is unibody and there shouldnt be a problem at all except for the motor mounts and trannys bolt patterns....
