I have a question on a 1965 mustang. I have owned a 1967 in the past but not a 65. Can someone tell me why on some 65's the rocker panels have a chrome trim cover and some don't. As well as why some have quarter panel chrome mouldings and some don't. Did they all have both originally? The 65 I just bought has the rocker panel chrome trims but does not have quarter panel mouldings. Wondering Why ?????

The trim package decides what it came with, some were more optioned then others.

yeah for instance the "pony interior" i dont remember if it was actually called deluxe or GT... i know mine does not have them, but it might be better if they do because the old mustangs are prone to cracking between the rockers and the 1/4 panels.... so it might kinda cover it up some... unless your keeping it ment i would put subframe connectors on it asap and be sure to "preload" it if you do put them on... it helped mine 100%...
