I am putting the GT styled hood and scoop on my 03. If i cut the section out underneath where the scoop sits, would this help the engine any? Just thought it would make the air scoop functional instead of stylish.

it wont do anything other than let water in. Ram air doesnt do any good on the engines of today

Yah, that's what i figured, other than the Mach 1, forced induction probably sucks on mustangs.

the mach 1's setup is also worthless its all for looks

Yah your probably right, I remember riding in a guys yellow 04 Mach 1.
The damn shaker didn't even shake at idle, car was quick though.
