im thinking about spraying my 02 v6 stang once i finish with my current mods. i would like to get into the mid-high 13's and would like some opinions. here are the mods ill have:
4.10 gears, posi-trac diff, sct livewire, bbk shorty headers, flowmaster dual exhaust, k&n high flow filter, ported upper with 65mm inlet, halfshafted 65mm throttle body, intake spacer, pi 3000 stall torque converter, j-mod, tranny cooler, lca's, 25% crank pulley.
i will be running on 18*9 chrome saleen rims so what size shot would be needed to get into the mid 13's? and is this safe on a daily driver? im gonna go with the wet kit but not sure about direct shot or not. im thinking about a 75 shot.

Sounds like a pretty decent setup you have going. A 75 shot is just about the limit for the stock internals without damage, just dont spray it down every straight road and you'll be fine. With the 75 and the mods you mention, I can see mid-high 13's in the horizon.

I don't think 13's are out of the question...mid13's however will call for more than a 75 shot, not something I'd recommend on a car you depend on for transportation.

well i should be looking at mid-high 14's with just the bolt-ons and rims. i know kyle runs a 15.0 with just a tune, cai, and pulleys. im getting tuned at the same place and racing at the same place.

You're not gonna drop more than a second on a 75 shot, sorry.

i dont know that i would call a mid 14 second car slow, but i just want to get that extra rush since i cant really afford a supercharger/turbocharger just yet. plus, i dont have to worry about my car all the time. once i leave the track, i just unhook the lines. with a supercharger, i wouldnt have the control to not put my foot to the gas. id probably blow my motor within the first few months. if i can go to the track and beat 05+gt's, that's more than enough for me.
