keep in mind these are not just the bulbs that put out LESS light than the stock halagons, this a a real, FULL BLOWN, TRUE, HID KIT. this kits puts out 400% more light ON LOW BEAM. than a standard halagon. its a BI-xenon kit so high beam is even better, but probably never needed. but what do you guys think of it before i pull the trigger on it. also keep in mine that a standard HID kit is 35 watts. this is a 55 watt kit so its even brighter than the HID kits you see on BMW's and lexus's.
eBay Motors: 55 watt DIGITAL HID kit 9007 HB5 bixenon LIFE WARRANTY! (item 170198226845 end time Mar-30-08 22:26:22 PDT)

My opinion is that your headlights were designed for halogen. Halogen bulbs have a straight light filament which the headlight was designed to reflect properly down the road. HID's produce a light arc not a straight line. The original design is not set up to reflect this arc properly. So you'll probably end up with a lot of glare. That really doesn't affect you but it sucks for everyone else.

actully i installed new headlights that are compatable for HIDS using the D2R BULBS (R FOR reflector), to tell you the truth all HIDS glare. my dads buick enclave and moms Gmc acadia have stock HIDS and are bright as HELL. my corvette has stock HIDs (using D1S bulbs) which are also very bright. so im just like the rest of them.
plus i have an electronic eye below the drivers side tire that senses other headlights and aims them much like BMW's.

That's a little different then. You aren't the normal "I want cool HID's kind of guy". You understand what it takes to do it right. I know all HID's have some glare but it is really minimized when they are engineering to be HID's.

yea. i really hate people who just slap on a PNP kit and call it done. they look nice and do help the driver, but im always blinded by them. so i turn on my brights (probably does not do much) but it just makes me feel better. the 4300k is perfect. i ordred from the same guy. just his true HIDS, not one of his PNP kits. took some extra work, but wort it in the long run. the low is awsome. and high beam is like turning on the sun again. the only thing i may do in the future is upgrade to the D2S and retrofit some TSX projectors in to get the awsome cut off. the reflector has an ok cut off, but not as sharp as projector beam ones.
