06 mustang V6 vs. 02 gli

a friend of mine has a 06 mustang v6 its auto has aem cai, and flowmaster exhaust some kid who has a 02 gli wants to race him the gli is stock what are his chances?

gli vr6 runs a 14.8@95 with a good driver.......i dunno the difference between a regular gli and a vr6 gli but if the reg gli is a little slower it'd be a good race

Well I do not know about both cars but tell the mustang driver to put more mods on his car cuz he would be lucky to run the low 15's! if he dirves well and the other driver sucks he might win!

not really dude.........those 5-speed autos in those 05+ are really good. it keeps the car up in rpms alot better than out 4-speed autos..........stock an auto 05+ runs ~15.3 and the 4.0 responds really good to bolt-ons

the v6 mustang will be in the mid 15's

right, and the "top of the line" (if i'm not mistaken) vw runs high 14s w/ a manual.......he's talking about a reg gli, not a vr6 gli model, which is the only thing i could find times on. so if thats a faster model, then its a close race
