Need recommendations on Throttle body.

need help pickin a throttle body for my 2004 GT. lookin for perfomance, what size to get. and opinions on quality. Thanx for helpin a rookie out.

you wont see a power increase with just a TB. I would do a set of underdrive pullies, a CAI, and look at a dyno tune or what not (with free future tunes like amazon racing does) you coul do a polished upper AND TB but dont do just the TB.

so the Tb doesnt do anything performance-wise? i have CAI and was looking to put in some UDP's. what brand would you think?

I got BBk UDPs on my 6 and I like em. they even stand up to the s**t they put on the road in winter. mag cloride or something.

Very soon mods: Vortech V-2 supercharger (4-6psi), port and polished TB, 70mm MAF & 19# injectors.

The throttle body will aid perfromance but SpectorV is correct, it is actually one of the last upgrades you put on because it has to work with other things like full intake and exhaust to get the gains. It kind of sucks because it is a relatively inexpensive part but those are just the dynamics of it. I also agree that BBK makes a respectable TB. That is what I have on mine.
