HOW DO THEY COME OFF? i saw that thred on how to remove them but i cant get those little snaps to come off. i have tried everything including WD-40 but cant get those little plastic snaps to go free. so whats the deal here?

i got the clips to come off so the top of the housing is easy, but those two little clips that hold the left and right of the housing in are a PITA to get off. they wont budge.

It's a pain in the ass man. You gotta just keep at it. It took me a damn hour to get them off my last Mustang.

Ok I see that now !! Your spelling of thread thru me off But here some info
The bottom screw has that plastic peice that has little wings on it that hold it in place. You need to take a pair of needle nose pliers and squeeze it and then pull from the front of the headlight and it should pop out. There is 2 of them 1 on either side of the headlight.

If your replacing the headlights instead of fighting with that plastic holder just break it of with a flathead screwdriver, it should be real brittle anyways.

yea. replaceing them with these.

Euro Cobra Headlights at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping! as well as putting an HID kit in. got the kit in except for the bulbs. the BI_xenon kit makes it extra long. not enough room to jimmy the bulbs in my them selves. so i stuck them in the new housings and am just gunna swap the housings.

thanks for ALL a yalls help. and yea my spelling sucks. :o

yeah... I will probably have a little while before I can get a 'vette or a Cobra. I'm kind of hoping for next summer looking at a Cobra, but it'll be hard to do with grad school. Good luck with the headlights.

ok here are some night shots. its a 55 WATT 4300k D2R HID kit. the shot looking at the cadi is the highs. the lows are below the grill. so they do not glare bad. the housings have a special HID compatable shield to stop glare, there is also an electrionic eye below the driver tire that senses other headlights and aims them down even more to doubly make sure they do not blind. also good if i forget to bump my highs off. i will get day time pics of the new housings tommarrow (when its daytime ) flash is off for all pics.

LOWS!

HIGHS!!

higs towards other house. camara does not do justice. these things are BAD A.
