well while installing the HIDKIT today (not finished, cant get housings out to fit bulbs in) but got the brute of it finished, like wireing and ballest mounting. i had the radio playing for only like 30 min and not that loud my radio goes up to 35 and i had it at 3. just my new alpine 4 speaker system. went to start it afterwards to take some borrowed tools back to my buddy and it started VERY weak, but still cranked, just not any ware near as strong.

my yukon i can listen to for hours while tail gateing, and my buddy has a 99 gt that we also tail gate with who plays his for hours, he has a rockin system of like 8 speakers and a sub. is it my battery or is it my electrical. Just askin. im going for an oil change and new tires tommarrow so i will have them throw a Yellow Top optima battery in. but what do yall think . i just cant play the radio. or a new battery will fix that? thanks guys.

brent is probably right, just make sure your not pulling burning voltage when everything is off.

i had to replace my battery a while back, might have ended up lasting me longer if it didn't have a crack.

well, um I worded that strangely, what I mean is that I know you recently installed driving lights correct? make sure that they aren't pulling power off the battery when everything is shut down. not saying you didn't do it right, but many times has something stupid like a mislabeled or two swapped wires caused me alot of troubleshooting.

soo, in short doublecheck your work, and if everything checks out install a new battery, then go burn some rubber.
