Help I Broke Somthing !!

ok. I hooked up the HIDs last night and it required a ground. so i grounded it where they grounded other stuff. about 10 min ago is the first time i have drivin it. i went to start and everything turned on and it cranked slowly then NOTHING. but i still have power to gauges. here is this causing a short? THe BLACK wire on there

could not get a new battery since i was on my way to do that and i found a dead battery. tommarrow im gunna go get the battery and alternator checked. but i wanna make sure im not the cause of the trouble by attaching that wire to the ground.

I think you just have a dead battery...nothing more. That wire is something that did not cause the problem, just a coincidence.

Weren't you saying just the other day that the battery was going out in the Mustang?

yea, just makein sure, as i hate the I TOLD YOU SO. from everybody who finds out o modified a car with out a mechnic right there. thanks though.

try the new battery before freaking too much. If you're still having weakness occurring, test the alternator

the alternator is origional. im jumping it with my truck and takeing it to autozone to have them test the alternator and the battery soon. im hopeing its the battery as i get a credit towards a new one since its under warrenty.

battery failed horribly. so all set with a yellow top optima, MAN THOSE THINGS ARE HEAVY.

tested the alternator and it passed with flying colors. oneday i hope it dies so i can throw a 250 or 300 amp one in.
