Painting question!

Ok, I have a Cobra R body kit already gel coated and primed just waiting to be painted. Body shops are crazy, asking prices from 800 up to 1500! I heard about those spray paints and just wondering if anybody did something like that. Could I paint the bumper and how would it look? I might try them at least on the side skirts.

I would recommend taking it to another body shop and getting another quote. Something around 500 would be fair for getting just a bumper painted. They might be factoring in blending into the fenders, which will make it match better, just depends on the color of your car and how picky you are about it.

Heck you could take it to macco and have them do it for you. I would take my own paint to them though and just have them prep, spray, and clear. Don't like the type of paint they use.
