If you have an automotive 4.10s would be perfect. They do give the car a lot of spunk. What model do you have.

4.10 for auto
3.73 for manual
thats what the general consensus is around here.

going from 2.73 to 4.10s thats about 4 tenths of a second which is probably far more than you would get with normal bolt ons.

4.10's might be much in a 5 speed. Wouldn't bother me a whole lot but it'd be a quick first.

4.10's are still really nice in that year car....my dad has them in his 2000 gt, 5 speed and they're great.....you can slip the clutch and not even give it gas.......no real big gas milage loss either

In a 5 speed GT 4.10s are not overkill, I've ridden in several cars with 3.73s, 4.10s and 4.30s and 4.10s felt best to me, first was still very usable, and it didn't hurt highway gas mileage any
