hey im pretty new to this site. ive been looking for a must ang the last couple of weeks and came across a bullitt. its all bone stock and only has 6200 miles!! listing price was 16k. i blue booked and said it was only worth about 11k. considering it is a 'limited edition' car i was thinking about offering 12. is this reasonable??

I wouldn't pay 16k for an 01 bullitt personally. 12k sounds reasonable based on the KBB.

If its a Ford dealer thats a standard price. I just found another Mystic Cobra for 28,999 at a local dealer, i lol'd.
Go in there with a KBB printout and laugh in their face. If they say no, move on and let some other poor schmuck pay that much for it. You can get a bank loan for sometimes a few grand over KBB just as easily as getting a loan from a dealer, so you can always go private party.

the sad part is, a lot of suckers will pay more than its worth simply because they don't know any better and whatever the dealership says is true - its like that for a lot of things, not just cars

its not worth 16k since its just a GT with some upgrades here and their~ I would pay 1k over maybe 2 if its in very very good condition.
