I have a 65 6 cylinder coupe.
I am having trouble, trouble shooting my brake lights. I have traced it as far as my wiring to my brake switch. The switch works. I am not getting current to the plug that hooks to the switch. Where do I go from here?
Thanks
Hey Mike, I am right up the road in Macon, welcome to the site! I had the same problems, and eventually just got frustrated chasing electrical gremlins. I replaced the rear wiring harness (fuel gauge, brake lights, and reverse lights) and haven't had a problem since. http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/ite...asp?T1=TAH1+01

The wire that goes to your brake switch is a constant hot wire. It most likely comes from the back of the ignition switch. I'll take a look at my book and double check. did you check your fuses...?
