I Dont Get THis Problem?

I HAVE A 96 3.8 V6 MUSTANG AND MY QUESTION WAS EVERY TIME THAT IM COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP I NOTICE THAT THE RPMS DROP BELOW FIVE HUNDRED, AND THE THE CAR SHAKES AS IF THE ENGINE TRYIES TO DIE I GUESS. IT RUNS PERFECTLY, IDLES FINE AND BRAKES NORMALLY. I CHECKED EVERYTHING OUT AND I COULDNT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. SO IF ANYBODY HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM OR MAY KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT IT THAT CAN PLEASE HELP ME OUT, PLEASE DONT HESITATE TO WRITE BACK

what did you check? it could be anything from a fuel filter to bad gas to MAF...
|

not to mention just about every sensor on the motor

03 GT, stage 2 clutch, lightweight flywheel, short throw shifter, march underdrive crank pulley, BBK intake, flowmaster exhaust, and apparently some engine work. WRECKED

I'd check the MAF first and clean this.

clean the maf really good wtih electronic cleaner NO residue on contact cleaner.
then you can check the idle bypass valve (iac) on the upper intake, its near the throttle body and cylinder shaped.

could also be a sticking idle valve you can take it off and clean it and see if it helps
