I have a 2001 Mustang V6 with just some regular bolt ons that i added. But anyway I really wanted to turbo my mustang but I do not know that much about turbos. If I could get some info about what kind or if supercharger would be better that would be great. Also if I could get some #s about how much it would run to install it all too.

If you dont know much about them, id highly suggest getting a supercharger kit thats more or less bolt-on affair. turbo'ing a non-turbo vehicle is not an easy task.

I agree, I would say I have seen it nickle and dime some people to death! If how ever you are set on getting one. Try and find an old TMA kit from andy, he does not make them any more, but they pretty much bolt-on, tune, and go!

turbo in the end will net you more hp/tq but superchargers are easier to just bolt up most of the time. I would look at a procharger as they have their own oil and you dont have to tap the oil pan for them.

A local shop is beginning the design phase of a complete "bolt in" turbo kit for the 3.8/3.9L mustangs. The just bought themselves a car to design on and have a couple of customer cars they are going to use for real world testing once the design is complete.

So, if you don't need this turbo right this second, keep shopping and planning and maybe looking at supporting mods to go with it. By that time this kit could be complete.

The goal of the kit is to be complete, soup to nuts, and be ready to bolt in and go. I believe they are also going to offer SCT tuners with basic tunes to go with it. I'm not sure on their target price yet, but I told them they have to make this kit because there are no kits available anymore.

With a supercharger kit you will have to upgrade your injectors, but they should come with your kit..You will also need to upgrade your fuel pump and get a tune!

+1 Sure he does! I almost got him make me one but decided to go Vortech.

Back to the topic, if you decide to go turbo I have some nice parts, almost a complete kit (no piping).
