i just recently got a 01 gt and i was wondering if it is mandatory to but super or premium in the car, i dont really know since there was no manual in the car and thanks in advance for your help.

Wrong forum, but unless the car is tuned or heavily modded you'll be fine with 87 octane.

nope, you can run regular in, it was tuned from the factory to run on 87....as long as there isn't an aftermarket tune on it that requires premium you're fine.

it will run better and get better gas mileage on regular since thats what its setup for from the factory.
