Best Car for Money

I sold my mustang a few years ago, and kinda lost track of whats going on with them. I'm in the market again but don't really know what to get.I'm going to spend no more than 20k. Which is better car like a 01' or 02' Cobra or a newer GT???

for 20k you can pick up either a new GT mustang (well nearly.. maybe not brand new (those are 25k new with rebates currently) but you can find an 06 for around that. You can also get an 03 cobra which has far more potential easy and stock has MUCH more power. Its all about which body style you like or what you want to do with it.

2005-2008 GT
300hp/320tq 4.6L 3v SOHC engine naturally aspirated

2003-2004 Cobra
425hp/400tq 4.6L 4v DOHC engine stock supercharged

both can be had around 20k~

The better car is the cobra by a landslide. If car mileage isnt an issue with you then the decision should be pretty easy

I didnt realize there was that much differance. I kinda like the 03' body style better. Now wonder what the differance is is insurance?? Thanks for the info.

I went from an 01 v6 coupe to an 03 cobra vert and my insurance went up about 20 a month. Plus the 03 cobra is MUCH more modable. For a pulley/tune to give you 450/450rwhp/tq (not engine... rear wheels lol) thats not bad.

Either way you go, get what you like more. Don't get something unless your absolutely satisfied with it, cuz then you will want to sell/trade sooner than you expect for the car you really wanted.
