i was doing some wiring under steering column and noticed my kick panel had a little button on it. its right next to the dead pedal and up a bit. took the panel off and it appeared to be factory, oem. i turned the car on and pushed it.... nothing. turned lights on and pushed it...... nothing. turned car off and pushed it.....nothing.
WHAT IS IT FOR???? what does it do? i havent tracked to wires yet but will if no one knows about it.

James bond ejection seat...or maybe smoke screen...
Other than that, no idea what it could be.

its a valet switch to turn the aftermarket alarm off if your alarm was hooked up you could turn the key to the accessory position and hold the button until the light came on and your alarm would not arm
