Rearend clunk when driving straight. Thoughts?

Ok, I have a couple of new noises lately. One is a clunk when turning corners hard. I Know that that is, that's the diff and IRS bushings being shot. Those I will be taking care of if the gov't ever decides to send me my rebate.
The second clunk I have is when driving straight and hitting bumps. I thought this was my boost a pump screws loosening up and causing it to vibrate against the sheet metal in the trunk. I just checked it, and it is still in there solid and I can't move it at all by hand. So it isn't that.
I pulled the driver side rear wheel off to see if something was lose. I Checked the exhaust to make sure it wasn't banging on anything. I can make it hit the diff, but I have to really wail on it to get it to hit, so I don't believe that is it. Besides, when driving the noise is coming from the driver side rear of the car.
I tried moving the springs by hand to see if it might be those, and I am thinking maybe. I was able to move it initially, and it did make a small clunk moving it by hand. But after that initial move, I wasn't able to move it again. But I still am thinking that might be it. When I lowered the car, I did not re-install the upper isolators on the rear springs. So, it is metal on metal back there.
Anyone have any other thoughts on what it might be? The sound only occurs when going over bumps, big or small doesn't matter. It sounds like something clunking against the side of the car.

you could do what I'm doing with my lowering springs. Wrap ~10 layers of electrical tape around them, and then spray a light coating of rubber over the tape. It should insult it so you don't have the metal/metal contact... and it won't raise your car much. I figure it's worth a shot.

lol what kind of insults are we talking about? simple "dookie head" or "stupid face" or is the metal getting all down and dirty and busting out momma jokes?

did you ever replace the front 12mm bolts with the 14mm ones~ for the irs, if you didnt the bushings being worn may make them act up more and it can make nosie when it shifts~

I haven't changed out anything with the IRS to date. It will all be going once I get my gov't check (man, I feel like I should be sitting on the front porch drinking coolaid when I say that).
I took all the panels out of the trunk last night while checking my BAP, and left them out so I could hear things better. It has definitely gotten worse from what it sounded like the last time I had the panels out. The Diff knocking sounds pretty horrible now too when turning.
I don't think it would be a broken shock as the car sits level in the back from side to side. The IRS bolt makes sense and could possibly be part of it...I thought I read in the past it would knock when turning because of that bolt, but I'm sure it's possible when going straight too.
Man, I hate noises you can't pinpoint.

I think my rear isolators are wearing out... almost every bump I hit I hear squeeks from my rear end.
