Evaporator coil

anyone know where I can find detailed instructions about changing the evaporator coil on my AC? I know I've gotta tear apart the dash to get to it and I'm hoping to find some good instructions so that I don't mess up any steps....

if you can find a Ford Service manual, usually it will tell you how to do it....check your libraries in the area, sometimes they have them

search around of some of the mustangs sites on doing a heater core replacement. you'll find what your looking for, its almost the same procedure.

I don't know what year your car is, so I put in 1990 Mustang GT. You'll see a table of contents. To get to the instructions, pick "Repair Procedures", then "Chassis Electrical", then "Air Conditioning", then "Evaporator", then "Removal and Installation". It should take you to this, but for the year YOU put in.
