Transmission Slip?

Lately when i drive my 2005 V6, i seem to have a little bit of transmission slip, is this a common problem with 05's or is it my own problem?

have you ever changed the trans fluid (should be done yearly)? this may do nothing but the killers of autos are not changing the fluid and heat.
