4.2L Crank

Having researched the components for a 4.2L engine, I am led to believe that the stock 4.2L crank is quite strong in comparision to the rods and pistons in the stock engine. At what power level is the 4.2 crank questionable? I see several sources advertising a forged piston rod combo and this leads me to conclude that the need for a forged crank is not necessary until one reaches very high power levels. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

4.2 cast - proven to hold 600 rwhp so far. This is seem to be the crank most go with. It is strong, light, cheap from Ford or the SC crankshaft is forged, and is much stronger than the cast NA crank. you can buy a stroker kit from supersix, morana, or delk.
