So last night (2am this morning), me and my friends were leaving one of our favorite local bars to find that my car had been pushed about 1 1/2 feet out of the parking spot, and we had the only 2 cars in the lot. Some drunk fuck with a big ass truck (could tell it was a truck from the height of the hit) hit my car and took the fuck off so he wouldnt get in trouble with the cops. Nobody was around, so theres really nobody to ask if they saw anything. So now I get to shell out $1k for my deductible for absolutly nothing. The person hit the drivers side quarter panel just above the tire and pushed it in so far you can actually look at the top of my tire. And it lipped above the hood, so its really really rough to open the hood. It even pushed the hood out of alignment a bit.

But it might not be worth the insurance bump.. shouldn't cost much more than 1200-1500 to fix...

that looks like its pretty much just the fender (and inner fender maybe) but you cant see the hood... man i agree with montecitan... ive seen fenders for 100$...

I wont get any bump in my insurance. The hood has to be realigned a bit and just needs new quarter panel and wheel well guard thing. Its just the point that I just started to save up for school and now have to pretty much throw $1000 out the window for absolutly nothing.

that sucks....make sure the alignment isn't screwed up as well, he may have hit the wheel/tire along with the fender.

Not to hijack but, me and my buddy were outside his house having a smoke at around 2 AM and we walk in and we are just hanging out in his house when we hear a loud metal clank and drag. He looks out to make sure his pool didn't collapse and we kind of assume some one took out a garbage can or something. His mom walks in asking asking why so many cop cars out front and we both give each other a WTF look.

We go outside to see 6 cop cars. and a Land Rover up on the curb. Turns out a drunk driver came speeding down his block and sideswipes a car, hard enough to break the parked car's front axle and destroy the side of the car and completely put the hole car up on the curb. The driver managed to keep the car straight enough to continue down an entire block (and a very narrow block at that) only putting a few scratches on some cars and knocking off a side mirror. Also doing so with only three wheels since his passengers front tire was way back in front of the other car.

Then about two weeks ago it happened again, same house, the girls cr was hit and the driver's fender was still in the bumper.

the same fucking thing happened with my 02 GT like a week after it got back from getting painted with the whole roush/saleen/eleanor scheme.

I keep far away from bars now, most those that frequent those places have no respect for anybody elses shit, especially nice cars, and have no qualms about leaving the scene. I spent an hour driving around looking for what was described to me as a white chevy silverado 1500 with a diamond plate toolchest.

yea me too. unfortunalty ill never find out who hit me unless someone leaks that they once hit my car. so i just have to suck it up and pay more attention to where I park now I guess.
